MALCOLM X

Malcolm X brotherhood poster. Malcolm X (1925-1965) was an African-American Muslim minister, public speaker and human rights activist. To his followers, he was an advocate for the rights of African-Americans, a man who criticised white America for its crimes against black Americans. His critics accused him of inciting racism and violence. He has been described as one of the most influential African Americans of the 20th century. The writing next to his picture is a famous quote by Malcolm X: "I believe in the brotherhood of man, all men, but I don't believe in brotherhood with anybody who doesn't want brotherhood with me. I believe in treating people right, but I'm not going to waste my time trying to treat somebody right who doesn't know how to return the treatment"
