This maxi poster is a replica of the Hiroshige print, The Sea at Satta. The original artwork was made by woodblocks during the 19th century. The waves lapping in the bay can be found in the foreground with a sail boat in the distance on calmer seas. In the distance is Mount Fuji, majestically standing proud. The Satta pass connects Edo with Tokyo (Kyoto at the time of the painting).
