A Clockwork Orange

Originally a novel by Anthony Burgess, A Clockwork Orange was brought to the silver screen by the legendary Stanley Kubrick in 1971! Alex and his gang of 'droogs' use the fictional language Nadsat, a mixture of Slavic and cockney rhyming slang which was developed by Burgess for the book. A Clockwork Orange has been praised for its influence on Kubrick's style and its influence on cinema as a whole.
