Friends still brings us so much joy!
The award winning series has stolen the hearts of many around the world and is still holding out in the top TV series spots even 25 years after the first episode aired! Not many TV series can compare. The 25th anniversary came last year for the series, back in September 2019 and wow we cannot believe 25 years has passed already since the very first Friends episode graced our screens. And now we’ve lost count of how many times we’ve re-watched the entire 236 episodes since.
Did you know that the original working title was “Insomnia Cafe” which then changed to “Six of One”, “Friends Like Us” and finally just “Friends”.
I don’t think anyone could have predicted just how loved the show would be when it launched it’s pilot episode in 1997. But here we are, over 15 years after the last episode was aired and it’s still one of the most watched series on Netflix. By the end of season 8 all 6 of the friends gang were raking in $1 million per episode *cue Janice*
Jen’s debut on Insta
It was last October that Jennifer Aniston officially broken Instagram! She joined the platform on the 15th and received so many followers at once the platform couldn’t handle the traffic. And guess what was the first photo she ever posted, oh only her and the rest of the f.r.i.e.n.d.s gang:

The photo has racked up over 15 million likes and an outrageous amount of comments that just keep on pouring in. And since then she’s not stopped entertaining us with little glimpses in to her life as well as some amazing throw backs to her Friends days ? It just shows the power that the cast still has on it’s fandom and we don’t think that will change any time soon.
The One Where They All Got Back Together
Was the above get together documented on Jen’s Insta the start of the reunion talks, or had it been in the pipeline way before? We’re not sure but what we do know is it’s actually happening. Could we BE any more excited?!

Apart from Matt LeBlanc who, in true Joey style, got the wrong end of the stick ?
The cast will reunite for a one off special for the launch of HBO Max which is set to launch in the spring in the US. What does this mean for the UK fan base, we’re not sure but hopefully we’ll get an update soon. For now what we do know is that all 6 of the actors will be involved in producing the unscripted special along side David Crane and Marta Kauffman. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer are rumored to be receiving at least $2.5 million each for the special.
