Sex Pistols

The Sex Pistols were an English punk rock band that formed in London in 1975. They were responsible for initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom. Despite only recording one album and releasing four singles they are widely considered one of the most important bands in the history of British music. The five original members have since been inducted into the 'Rock and Roll hall of Fame', but the four surviving members refused to attend the ceremony. The art work has remained immensely popular and iconic since the 1970's mainly due to what it represents, rather than people being fans of the band itself. Rebelling against society, trying to make a change and living by their own rules.
