Transport for London
Transport for London (TfL) is the government body responsible for the transport system in London, England's capital city. TfL runs London's network of road routes, and rail networks including the London Underground, London Overground, Docklands Light Railway, and TfL Rail, as well as London's trams, buses, and taxis, for cycling provision, and for river services. It was created in 2000 and superseded London Regional Transport. The most famous flagship product for TFL is undoubtedly the world-famous London Underground Tube system which runs 11 lines across the city and collectively transports approximately 4.8 million passengers a day.
